CUPS AND SAUCERS IH THE NAVY Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, April 25. The Admiralty has decided to substitute cups and saucers for basins in the seamen’s mess, thus terminating an old custom dating bade to Nelson’s day. The news of the change is mooting with a mixed reception. A seasoned bluejacket expresses the opinion that it is a sign of effeminacy, and another that cups and saucers are liable to be unshipped in heavy weather. The change will first bo effected in the Homo Fleet.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
