" Tho milk department of the City Council is in a moro flourishing condition now than it has been for a long time, and I can say that that position will he reflected in the balance-sheet to be presented to tho City Council,” remarked Cr W. H. Bennett in his election address at Kelburn, Wellington. “ I can say, too, that wo will bo able to put away £2,000 towards the reduction of the over-capi-talisation of tho department, and wo are going to put aside £2,000 to provide a new site for a much-needed factory. The balance of the money will bo returned to the people in the form of cheaper winter milk.”
