BUENOS AYRES. April 17. A horse-race covering 800 miles with thirty-eight runners, which will probably last a mouth, began here on April 10. 'The course is over twenty miles on a. ranch near here. The contest is to determine whether the crioglo, or native Argentine horse of t ho pampas, is superior to the best horses of pure breed.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
