The match Was resumed at Launceston in fine weather, but the wicket was heavyafter overnight rain. Tasmania in their first inniims scored 166 (Green 31, Ilcnty 32) England in their second innings lost seven wickets for 351 (Hendren 101 not out, Sandham 51, Bryan 46). The innings was declared closed. [England in their first innings made 218.] HOBART, January 29. (Received January 29, at 11 a.m,) Tasmania in their second innings had lost two wickets for 30 (Rennet 20) when stumps were drawn.
