In the case of Frank W. Barnes v. Daniel G. Gumpat/.cs, plaintiff did not appear, and costs £1 Is were allowed defendant. JUDGMENT BY DEFAULT. Judgment for the undermentioned amounts (with costs) was given for plaintiffs in each of the following cases: Nimmo and Blair, Ltd. v. Malcolm Chalmers (Mataura), £42 9s 6d, goods supplied and Interest on account overdue; Eccles and Downes v. Charles Warren, £5 4s 6d, amount. o£ account stated ; M'Leans, Ltd. v. W. W. Warren, £4 16s, amount of account .stated; New Zealand Acetylene and Hardwire Company v. John Magee (Nightcaps). £lO 4a 6d, hardware supplied and interest; W. Butcher v. J. Resteaux, £3 6s 6d, amount of account slated ; some v. C. Reeves, £2 7s, amount of account stated: C. Hinchclitf v. Eric Roberts, £9 13s, liquor supplied and cash lent; W. Harris and Son v. Ettic Beyer, 14s 6d, balance due.
