Thq Free State has registered with tho Secretariat of the League of Nations tho treaty with Britain constituting the Free Stato. The British Government informed the Secretariat that it considered that there was nothing in tho League's Covenant which could regulate tho relations between the different parts of the British Empire. Therefore tho treaty did not come within Article XVIIL of the Covenant,—Sydney ‘ Sun ’ Cable. REPUBLICAN ACTIVITIES. LONDON, December 15.
