(Received December 16, at 9.15 a.m.) Tho Berlin correspondent of 1 The Times' says: “Dr Marx has definitely given up negotiations with the various parties in regard to tho formation of a new Government, and the initiative now passes into tho hands of Herr Ebert and Dr Stresemann to form a Government. Dr Stresemann, who is suffering from a chill, is at present in a sanatorium, but he is epoctcd to return to Berlin on the 17th inst,”—-‘The Times.’
