LABOR LEADER
MR MACDONALD RE-ELECTED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, December 5. The Parliamentary Labor Party reelected Mr Ramsay MacDonald chairman, Mr ,1. li. CTyncs vice-chairman, and Air Ben .Spoor chief whip. The ‘Daily Herald’ states that over 109 Labor members of the House of Commons attended tho meeting. Air Maxton severely criticised some aspects of the Labor Government's record, and proposed the election ot Mr O. Lonsbtiry to the leadership of the party. Air Lansbury declined nomination; declaring that a change of leadership was inopportune. One member .suggested that the election of lender should bo postponed till adequate inquiries had been made regarding the Zinovicff letter. Mr Arthur Henderson intimated that the inquiry would bo pursued.
Air .MacDonald was then re-elected, there being five dissentient voices. Messrs G. Lnnsbmy, R. Smillie, Philip Snowden, J. 11. Thomas, J. Wheatley, ,). Maxton, 0. P. Trevelyan, W. Graham, J. C. Wedgwood, Arthur Henderson, and F. O, Roberts were elected the Executive Committee of the partv. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
