COMMITTEE MEETING. A meeting of th® commits# of tho Otago Lawn Tennis Association was held last night, Mr J. -Mock presiding. Mr Cousto'n submitted a, report regarding the Anderson Bay Courts, and it, was resolved to have courts 4,5, and 6 put in proper order. Tho Southland Lawn Tennis Association wrote suggesting the cud of February as suitable dales for the annual match between Otago mid '.Southland, teams to consist of six ladies and six' gentlemen, as usual.—Secretary to reply that the committee considered tho dates suitable, but would definitely lix them at its January meeting. The Manioloto Association wrote that it would endeavor to submit an itinerary For the Goldfields tour to the association, On the receipt of this advice, the secretary was instructed to communicate with A* and 15 grade clubs giving parti culars of (ho suggested tour, mid to ask them to submit the names of players available.

The lloslyn, Technical College, St. Kilda, University, Knitnnn, mid Otago Clubs submitted names of players eligible for inclusion on tlie provincial ladder. This matter was referred to the Selection Committee, with a request that, the ladder bn put in order this week so that players might start challenging one another. The Smith Canterbury .Association wrote that it desired to play a, match against Otago on December 15. The secretary reported that, after consulting tho president, ho had advised South Canterbury that the association would be pleased to receive a visit on December 13. and that tho Selection Committee had been asked to select the Otago team. The match will be played at- the Anderson Bay courts on Saturday, December 13, commencing at 10 a.m., and, as South Canterbury have a very strong team, this match should provide some very interesting tennis. A sub-committee has been appointed to arrange matters in connection with luncheon, afternoon teas, and entertaining. OTAGO v. SOUTH CANTERBURY. The following players are requested to practise an the lloslyn tennis courts mi Monday at 5 p.m., when the following games will be played Bray and Page v. Treeear and Jenkins; Gale and Guy v. Black and Fulton ; Gothic and Boddy v. Moody and Cleghom. Ladies will practise at Moana at the same hour.
