Quo of the most original war memorials in Great Britain is near completion in tho little village of Hedge End, in Hampshire. It is being built, in Swiss chalet stvlo, entirely by an ex-scrvice man. Tho memorial contains many symbolic figures and inscriptions, ns well as medallions containing the names of war celebrities. In it is a model of tho Europa, and on the ceiling are about 800 wooden dia-' bearing regimental crests, colors, ribbons, buttons, divisional and coqos signs, and the crests of all the ships in the British Navy. ...t
