WEATHER REPORT. The Dominion Meteorologist (Mr D. C. Bates) supplied the following at 9 a.m. to-day:—

Weather.—B, blue sky, be the atmosphere clear hr heavy; C, clouds, passing clouds: D, drizzling rain; F, foggy; G, gloomy, dark weather; H, hall; L, lightning ;M. misty; O,' overcast, the whole shy covered with thick clouds; P, passing showers; Q, squally; R, rain, continued ruin; S, snow; T, thunder; U, Ugly, threatening appearance; Z, hazy. Forecast. The Dominion Meteorologist (Mr D. 0. Bates) supplied the following at noon to-day ;—The indications are for westerly winds, moderate to strong and freshening; weather changeable and .showery; barometer rising soon; sea, moderate swell off shore; tides good. ARRlVED.—December 4. Calm, s.s. (11.20 a.m.), 892 tons, M'Laohlan, from Bluff. SAlLED.—December 4. Kentucky, s.s. (11.30 a.m.), 6,602 tons, Wooster, for Melbourne. The Waipori is expected at 8 p.m. today from Bluff. The Wingatui left Auckland yesterday afternoon-for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin. and Bluff. She is due hero about Wednesday. The Navua was to' leave Auckland at noon to-day for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due here about Tuesday. The Kentucky sailed this morning for Melbourne and Sydney to complete discharge of her Now York cargo. The Whangape sails to-morrow for Oamaiai, Bluff, and Sydney. The Waikawa sails on Saturday for New Plymouth direct to complete discharge of her cargo from Pacific Coast ports. The Opihi leaves Wellington on Saturday for. Dunedin direct. She loads here on Monday for New Plymouth and Nelson. The Flora was to leave Gisborne, to-day for Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due here about Sunday, and sails again cm Tuesday for Gisborne via ports, Tlv. liolmdale is due on Monday from Wellington, and sails tin; same day for Wanganui via ports. The Calm arrived this morning from Bluff, and sails lute to-night for V\ angamii via ports. THE FERRY SERVICE. The Maori, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 6.50 a.m. to-day, and passengers and mails connected with the south express. THE PORT HUNTER. An amval at Auckland on Saturday was the and D liner Port limiter, from London, with cargo to discharge :.t Auckland, Wellington, and Dunedin. The vessel was to have left Auckland on Monday evening for southern peris. Aiter discharge she will load for London, sailing from New Zealand early in January. She is due here on December 11. AT HEN IC EXPECTED ON SUNDAY. Messrs Murray, Roberts, and Co. advise that the Shaw, Savill and Albion Lino steamer Athcnic is now expected to arrive at Port Chalmers on Sunday from Lyttelton to load dairy produce, and general cargo for England. She will sail about Tuesday for Lyttelton. Napier, and Wellington to complete loading. THE PACIFIC COAST. For flic first time in the history of the port of San Francisco the cargo tonnage arriving and departing for the month of September went over the million tons’ mark. Cargo figures for the month of September show that during that period the cargo movimr over the local piers amounted to 1,001,148 tons. Of tin's amount 650,708 tons were inbound and 350,440 tons outbound. September (his year showed a pain of more than 59,000 tons over the same month of 1923. TEKOA LEAVES LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company has been advised by cable that the Tckoa sailed from London on Friday for Suva, Auckland, Wellington. Port Chalmers, and New Plymouth. The vessel is duo at Auckland about January 5.
