MB J. A. DUNNING SELECTED. [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, November 7. Mr John Angus Dunning, B.Sc., of the Auckland University, has been selected as the Rhodes scholar. [Mr Dunning was the Auckland candidate for the Rhodes scholarship last year also. He is an Otago repre.-entative in both cricket and hockey. He obtained his B.Sc. degree in Auckland in 1922, and this year he will sit lor his 31. Sc. at Otago University. He is at present science master at the John M'Glashan College, and lias also recently been appointed assistant to the professor of mathematics at Otago University.]
