The deceased inherited a farm of 293 acres from her father, and she had lived a lonely life since the death of her mother twelve years ago. Rumors aro current that she kept a large sum of money in the house, which had been ransacked apparently at the time of tho tragedy. THE POLICE SEARCH, MELBOURNE, September It (Received September 11, at 10 a.m.) Miss Enwright was last seen alive on July 27, when, after a visit to Yachandandah, she was driven by a neighbor to within 100yds of her house. When the neighbors forced an entrance to the house they found that the bed had not been made, and that the clothes usually worn by Miss Enwright when she was away from honfo wore in her bedroom,

The farm was badly neglected, and it is not thought possible that the unfortunate woman could have possessed much means. The police are endeavoring to find the person who was seen speaking to tho woman on July 27.
