ANDERSON BAY SCHOOL
JUMBLE SALE. The jumble sale in connection with the Anderson Bay School was concluded last night, when there was again a crowded attendance. The committee feels gratified at the splendid response of parents, children, and friends of the school, the gross takings amounting to about £2OO. Mr V. Neville’s orchestra again rendered a splendid programme of music, which was much enjoyed. Mr Tait delighted the audience with a high-class exhibition of juggling, and was warmly .applauded. The art union was drawn during the evening, and created considerable interest. The result will be found in the advertising columns of this paper. The thanks of the committee a.re due to tho Presbyterian Church managers for the use nf the hall free of charge.
