LONDON MARKETS. The Otago Farmers’ Co-op. Association, Ltd., has received the following cable from London: —Butter, 198 s to 200 s; cheese—colored 90s, white 945. Frozen lambs and frozen mutton: The markets are still firm, with a healthy outlook. Tallow : Good quality advanced Is per cwt. STANDARD INSURANCE COMPANY. The annual report of the directors of the Standard Insurance Company, Ltd., states that the net income for the year ending June 30, 1924, amounted to £210,830 15s sd, expenditure to £165,868 19s lid, leaving a balance of £45,461 15s 6d, to which has to be added the balance carried forward from last year, amounting to £17,109 9s 2d, making a total of £62,571 4s Bd. From this an interim dividend was paid in March last amounting to £7,500, leaving an available balance of £55,071 4s Bd, of which the directors have placed to reserve fund £22,000, and now recommend that the balance bo Appropriated as follows:—To pay a dividend for the half-year ending June 30, 1924, at the rate of Is per share and a bonus at the rate of 6d per share, and to carry forward to next year £18,071 4s Bd.
