ISLAND STEAMER MOVEMENTS. The Union Company announces tho following movements of steamers engaged in the South Seas and Pacific Islands services : The Tofna left Suva on Friday last for Apia and the Friendly Islands. The Katoa,,, with cargo from Sydney via Suva, is duo at Auckland to-morrow. The Ngakuta, from Rarotonga, is due at Auckland on Monday. VESSELS LEAVING NEW YORK. Advice received by the local agents for tho American and Australian Line states that the following steamers have been fixed lo sail from New York Tremerc, on July 5, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timarn, Dunedin, and Blull. Kalomo. on July 20, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Melbourne. Doonholm, on July 30, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff. Newby Hall, early in August, for Auckland, Wellington, New Plymouth, Hobart, and Launceston. The. Flora is dn© on Monday from Napier, and sails the same day for Wanganui via ports. The Hain Line steamer Trevoria.ii, cm route from Montreal to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin. Melbourne, and Svdncy, is reported lo have arrived at Colon on Jnne 20. The Wingatni leaves Auckland at the end of tho month for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. After discharge hero, she loads for Auckland via ports. Tho Kakapo is duo bore early next month with a cargo of guano from Walpole Island. The Navua is duo to leave Auckland on Saturday for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She should arrive hero about July 8. . The Moeraki sailed last night for Bluff and Mo! bourne.

Tho Whangape, which is at present completing survey at Port Chalmers, sails about Wednesday for Bluff and Sydney. Tho Kawaldri docks at Port Chalmers on Saturday, and sails on Mend-ay for WcHport. Tho Kamona has been delayed at Bluff by rain, and will now leave there tomorrow, being due here on Saturday to complete discharge of her coal cargo. THE " FERRY SERVICE. The Maori, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 6.55 a.m. to-da.y, and passengers and mails connected with the south express. NOTICE TO MARINERS. Notice is given by the Marine Department that on and after tho evening of Friday, Juno 27, the characteristic phase of the light shown from the existing lighthouse situated at Anglem Point, on tho eastern coast of Stewart Island, will he chanced to light (unwalched) flashing 15soc (flash o.sscc, eclipse 14.6sce). Other particulars remain unaltered. THE KENT. The Federal Lino steamer Kent, now discharging West of England cargo nt Auckland, is to leave that port on Friday for Wellington. She should arrive at Wellimrten on Sunday, and after discharging part, cargo will proceed to Lyttelton., Dunedin, and PJafT lo complete discharge. From Bluff the Kent will go to Australia. ROOTLA.NDT SHIP OUTPUT. In February Clyde shipyards launched' thirteen vessels of 10,607 tons gross, bringing tho river’s output for the first two mouth;, - of the year up to twenty-two vessels of 47,524 tons grow. One vessel of 2.656 ions gross was launched mi the Forth, and one vessel of about 1,000 tons gross on the Tay. Two vessels of 810 tons were launched on the 1 lee. VESSELS IN WIRELESS CALL.
