KAIKORAI BAND
CONCERT ON SATURDAY. A. vocal -and instrumental concert of outstanding merit will ho hold in Hi;; Majesty’s Theatre on Saturday evening, 28th hist. The Kaikorai Band has been diligently rehearsing tho items set down against its name, and Mr Davies (the conductor) is confident that splendid performances will ho given. The special number will he the grand selection. ‘ Lortz.ing,’ which was the test piece at the Timavn contest some years ago, when the band took high honors. There will be two other contributions by the hand, and these, together with items from leading local artists, male© up a delightfully varied, programme. ■
Mr and Mrs Gardner and Major I l ’. Dampen will stage a delightful comedy, ‘ Mrs Bouncer’s .Boarders,' and the following artists will also contribute items:—Mrs Asi ley Black, Air Ernest Drake, Air L. North, Mr S. If. Osborn, Mr J. A. Wallace, and Messrs ID Kerr, sen., and 10. Kerr, jun. The box plan will he on view at Tho Bristol from 9 n.m. on Thursday.
