Tho second tramway social was held on Thursday last at Gainin' Hall, Kaikorai, and was a decided success, there being over ninety couples present. The lighting effects, together with the spotlight, lent a gay aspect to the dancing and enjoyment of "the evening. The decorations, carried out under Mr"H. Reid’s supervision, were neat and artistic. Owing to the absence of Mr Sharp (secretary), Mr 11. Mastic (bon. secretary) was in charge oi the ■social.
