OCTAGON. Tho Octagon Theatre continues to draw largo audiences, the attraction being ‘ If Winter Comes,’ a remarkable photo-drama production taken from A. S. M. Hutchinson's well-known novel. Excellent supports arc .screened, and the. Octagon Orchestra, under Mr Arthur Ncate, vendors a special musical score. EMPIRE. ‘Tiger Rose,’ starring Lennrc Ulric, heads the programme at the Empire Theatre. ‘ Tiger Rose ’ fell:; of n woman’s light to save a man compelled to avengo tho death of his mother and sister, and by so doing finds himself a fugitive from justice. Good supporting pictures are shown, and many enjoyable numbers are, played by tho Empire Orchestra.
