Lord Wiilingdon, the retiring Governor j of Madras, who recently returned to Great i Britain, has been a most tactful adminisi trator. He has had the almost unique exj pehencc of filling two Indian Governor--1 ships. On one occasion he went for a I ride of thirl.v miles with a particularly disagreeable old rajah. Seeing that the rajah was disinclined for conversation, His | Lordship hardly , spoke a word to him ; during the whole journey. But his silence 1 greatly impressed the rajah, who exclaimed io some officials on his return; “ Ah! the Governor is a real sahib; he does not talk.” Acts like a charm! That’s what thou Kinds say of “NAZOL”—the handiest and purest remedy for coughs and colds.—
