CALEDONIAN CLUB. In submitting tho forty-fifth annual report and balance-sheet tho committee congratulates the members on a very successful season. With deep regret the death was recorded of Mr W. Dawson. The services which ho and his associates of bygone days rendered to tho clnb have established in tho Oaicdoniagi Club a permanent memorial. The financial position of the clnb is very satisfactory. This year tho club enjoys the distinction of being the winners of tho Saturday iriterclub contest and the four-rink championship. The club has now held tho banner for five years consecutively—a very lino achievement. In congratulating players on their victorious performance the committee desires to acknowledge the club’s indebtedness to the able services of our energetic selector, Mr J. Abbott. Your committee heartily congratulates Mj Abbott on the success attending his efforts, and regrets his decision not to sock re-election. The following were tho results of the chib ties:—Rinks: T. Critchfield, C. Eyre', E. Carroll, Y. Cavanagh (s), 1; W. Eort, J. Ross, Y. Langley, W. Latham (s), 2. Doubles: W. Elliott and J. Hungcrford (s), 1; F. Evans and D. Smith (s), 2. Champion singles: C. Amtman, 1; C. Tillie, 2. Handicap singles: C. Tillio, 1; A. Summorell, 2. Notwithstanding the very trying conditions to which the green was subjected during the past season, players can confidently look forward to a continuation of the satisfactory conditions experienced in the past. The greonkeeper (Mr John Ogg) is to be congratulated on the excellent condition of the green. In order to provide locker accommodation for all players, tho committee decided to extend the bowl house. This work is now completed, and provision made for thirty extra lockers. The club extends its heartiest thanks to Mrs C. F. Grcenslade tor acjiin presenting the champion rink prize (the Grcenslade Ferns) and a special prize; also to the following club members, who gave donations or prizes ; —Messrs 0. Amtman, J. 11. F. Hamel, D, Trainer, J, Hungerford, W. T. Henaghan, R. C. Procter, j. Hamilton, C. Lyng, J. Abbott, and D. Hutchison. Tho Billiard Committee is to be congratulated on another successful year. The club is indebted to its Social Committee (Messrs Abbott, Amtman, Hamilton, Sutherland, and Procter) for the excellent manner in which it organised the social function and provided for the catering during tho year. The lady friends of tho club have" had a particularly busy season, and wo are becoming ever increasingly indebted for their interest and good which are much, appreciated.
