The Green Island Presbyterian Church congregation held a_ sale of work on Saturday afternoon in aid of the church repair fund. There was a good attendance, and the stall-holders we.ro kopt very busy. Mrs Kilpatrick and her very capable staff, especially the secretary (Mrs Jas. Taylor) worked hard. The deputy mayor (Mr J. L. Miller) opened the bazaar, and tho Rev. Mr Kilpatrick also spoke, Tho following were tho stall-keepers:— Cake and ten. rooms, Mrs Dry don, Mrs Gillanders, Mrs James Thompson, and attendants; work stall, Mrs Kilpatrick, Mrs Steele, and Mrs C. Martin ; lolly stall, Bible class girls; produce stall, Mrs W. Watson, Mrs Murie, and assistants ; flower stall, Mass Kirkland and Miss Roma Christie; bran dips, Bible class boys; shooting gallery, Mr Wm, Mario. Mr Alox. Murio kept the ladies in the tea rooms supplied with an abundance of hot water. Children like WARE’S WORM PIGS. Sate and certain remedy Jor worms.— XAjhitj
