PREPARATIONS IN CANADA. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. OTTAWA, May 50. Mr H. H. Macdonald. Minister'of National Defence .announced that the Dominion of Canada will give, the officers of tho British Squadron an official welcome at a dinner on their arrive! at Victoria. Subsequently a party of officers and 250 men will be given a, tour of Calgary and Edmonton, returning via Yellow Hoad Pass. The Government of Alberta will cooperate in the tour.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
