ANNUAL CONFERENCE ARRANGEMENTS. A (special meeting of tho Labor Representation Committee was held last night, Mr F. Jones presiding over an attendance of thirty-five delegates. Messrs J. Gilchrist and R. G. M'Donncll were appointed to represent tho _committee at tho annual conference of the New Zealand Labor Party, to be held in Dunedin at Easter.

A communication was received from Mr W. Nash (national secretary of the Yew Zealand Labor Party) slating that Mr J. A. Lee, M.P. (Auckland East) would he in Dunedin about tho middle of April, and asked that mootings he. arranged. — It was decided to convene meetings in different parts of the city. A resolution was passed endorsing the action of tho Xew Zealand Executive oi tho Labor Party in cabling its sympathy with the Russian Soviet Government on the death of Lenin.

Arrangements were made for the annual conference of the Xew Zealand Labor Party, which is to commence on Easter Monday. This is the first time the conference'’ has Wen hold in Dunedin, and it is expected it. will be the biggest conference yet held, over 100 delegates attending from nil over the dominion. The conference will probably last all the week. Air J. W. Atunro, ALP., notified the committee that he would he in attendance at the committee moms, Jamieson’s Buildings, Stuart street, every Friday afternoon and evening. It was decided to hold committee meetings every Sunday night.
