(Received March 21, at 11.55 a.m.) The pro-Rcpublican demonstration was scantily attended,, and the people were indifferent, despite the fiery speeches. Tho bazaars then opened, whereupon the antiIloynlists tried to close them, by force. A * scuffle ensued, and the police intervened. The Mejliss met in the evening, when Ta.dyon, the Progressive Party leader, endeavored to rush the question of members’ credentials in order to come to tho important question of a Republic., Tho Moderates strongly opposed every motion, and, as Tadyon had not a majority owing to a split in tho party, his motions were defeated, and the Mejliss adjourned without arriving at a decision. It is reported that the Crown Prince has been warned to leave, and the Royal ladies have already loft Persia.—.Reuter.
