Messrs Murray, Roberts, and Co., Ltd., are to-day in receipt of a cable from their London agents, dated 25th inst., giving quotations as under: —56’s, yielding 60 per cent., 30d (27id at close of last series); 50’s, yielding 65 per cent., 25d (22d); 44’s46’s preparing, yielding 74 per cent., 17d (15id); 44’s-46’b carding, yielding 72 per cent., 16d (14|d); yielding 73 per cent., 15d (133 d); 36’s-40 v s, yielding 75 per cent,, 14d (12^d). GRAIN AND PRODUCE. Messrs Dalgety and Co. report as follows : Oats.—Offerings from the country have practically ceased, and, in the absence of sales, quotations are only nominal. Wo quote;—A Gartons 3s sd; B Cartons 3s 3d per bushel, sadks extra. Fowlwheat.—Prices receded considerably during the week, and good whole fowl wheat is now worth up to 5s per bushel. Chaff.—Supplies aro very short, and any lines coming forward are readily taken by local feeders at from £6 10s to £7 per ton, sacks extra. PROPERTY SALES.
