FAlLED.—January 26. Flora, s.s. (7.15 p.m.), 1,283 tons, Rankin, for Gisborne, Breeze, s.s. (11.45 p.m.), 553 tons, Robertson, for Timaru. Kahuna, s.s. (9 p.m.), 2,042 tons, Jaimay, for Oamaru. January 27. Austraiind, e.s. (7 a.m.), 4,393 tons, Mordaunt, for Melbourne. Tho Flora, after her overhaul, sailed from Port Chalmers on Saturday for Gisborne. The Kahuna had her compasses adjusted, and sailed from Port Chalmers on Saturday night for Oamaru. Tire Austraiind sailed yesterday morning for Melbourne and Sydney, whore she will complete discharge of her Canadian cargo. The Opihi, from Wellington, is duo on Thursday, and is to sail on the same day for Nelson and New Plymouth via ports. - The Breeze sailed on Saturday night for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. The Holmdftle is due on Wednesday, from Wellington. She is to sail on the ■same day for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. NALGORA FROM CALCUTTA. The Union Company has been advised that tho Britisli-Tndia steamer Nalgora, en routo from Calcutta via Australian ports, is due at Auckland on Thursday. The vessel carries a large quantity of cargo from India.

HERTFORD FROM LONDON. The Now Zealand Shipping Company reports that the steamer Hertford arrived at Colon on January 20 from London, and loft Panama on January 21 for Auckland, Wellington, Port Chalmers, and Bluff. Tho vessel is duo at Auckland on February 16, and at Wellington a week later. RUAHINE LEAVES COLON. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company has been advised 'by cable that tho lluabine loft Colon on January 20 for Southampton and London, on route from New Zealand. WESTMORELAND FROM LIVERPOOL Messrs Turnbull, Marlin, and CX report that the Westmoreland, from Liverpool via Auckland, is to leave Wellington on January 30 for Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due hero about to-morrow week. DORSET AT NEWPORT NEWS. Tho Dorset arrived at Newport Nows on January 21 from Auckland, en route to Now York, Boston, London, and West of England ports. Tho vessel left Auckland on December 18. P.APAROA’S VOYAGE. Advice received by the Federal Lino states that tho Paparoa sailed from Panama on January 1.7, en route from Liverpool to Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on February 13, and at Wellington a w'eok later. RUAPEHU FOR ENGLAND. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruapehu is to leave Wellington this afternoon for London via Panama. SUFFOLK DUE THURSDAY. Messrs Turnbull, Martin, and Co, advise that the Suffolk, from Liverpool via Auckland, Wellington, and Lyttelton, is duo hero on Thursday to complete discharge. She will later load on the New Zealand coast for West of England ports. MAMARI LOADING FOR HOME. •' The Mamari, which arrived at Wellington on Wednesday from Picton, is scheduled to leave there on January 29 for Lyttelton. She will complete loading at Lyttelton, and should sail from there on February 4 for London via Montevideo and Teneriffo.

,NOWSITERA DUE TO-MORROW. Messrs Turnbull, Martin, and Co. report th.it the Nowshera, from Philadelphia and New York via Auckland, Wellington, and Lyttelton, is due. here tomorrow or on Wednesday to continue discharge. She will complete unloading at Melbourne. C. AND D. VESSELS. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line advises that the Port. Caroline, which was to have loaded at New Vork for New Zealand, has been diverted to Australia.. She has been replaced by the Port Chalmers, which is in sail from New Turk on February 6 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney. Warning to mariners. The Naval Department advises that H.M. ships 'Laburnum and Veronica, will be carrying out firing practices at Qrarapa Rock, between Raid no and Motu-Hurakia Island to-dav, on Wednesday, and on Thursday. Firing will take place between the bearings of 114 degrees and 150 degrees, and between tho bearings of 303 degrees and 325 degrees of tho rock. Both ships will flv a blue ensign at the masthead during tho firing. ' CITY OF WINCHESTER. Under charier to tho Shaw. Savil! and Albion Company, the City of Winchester left Delagoa Bav on January 19 for Lyttelton, where ehe is due on February 13 to load for I/ondon. The vessel will also load at Tnkomnru Bay. Napier, Wanganui. and Wellington. ' She will sail from Wellington on March 4 for London via Montevideo and Teneriffo. SUSSEX DUE WEDNESDAY. Tho Union Company’s chartered steamer Sussex, from Calcutta,, Sir,copore, and Sam a rang via Lyttelton, Wellington, and Timaru, is due here on ’Wednesday to continue discharge. THE PORT SYDNEY. Messrs J. W. Swift and Co. report that the Common wealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Sydney, from London via Auckland and Wellington, is duo hero about January 31 to complete, discharge. She will then sail for Bluff, and will return to Port Chalmers about. February 10 to load under the agency of Messrs H. L. Laptev and Co. The vessel will complete loading for’ New York, Boston, and London at Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland.
