CASE AGAINST CROWN. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, January IS. Art O’Brien, attended by two prison warders, is conducting his own case before the Hush Deportees’ Compensation Tribunal, where ho is claiming £7,000 damages and costs. Ho applied to the court to release him on parole for a month in order to prepare his case properly. Lord Justice Atkin replied that the court was not empowered to grant the application j but he granted an adjournment for a month.—Reuter.
