Linden Lodge, No. 19, 1.0.0. F., at its first meeting of the new term, was well attended, N.G. Bro. M. Robertson presiding. A motion was passed expressing sympathy with a Past Grand who had suffered a bereavement at Christmas time. Dr W. Newlands, who has been the lodge’s medical officer for the past thirteen years, wrote tendering his resignation as from the end of the March quarter. It was resolved that the resignation be accepted with regret, and that the position be further considered at next meeting. The installation of officers was conducted by Bro. L. D. Ritchie, Grand Treasurer. The following are the principal officers; —Bro. E. Brandon, N.G.; Bro. T. S. Gourley, V.G.; Bro. F. W. Joseph, secretary; Bro. L. Kemnitz, treasurer; Bro. M. Robertson, J.P.G.; Bro. G. H. Baker, warden; Bro. E. A. Wilkinson, conductor; trustees—Bros. W. Smith, R. S. Wardrop, and J. S. Nelson.
