Recent researches into tho wireless wave will probably lead to a- ■ much cheaper method of producing light. Professor A. M. Low, the inventor, says that scientists might _ be able to convert the wireless wave into a light wave, and so find a more economical way of producing and distributing light. Later, he believes, a method will bo found of distributing light waves from a central station in any desired direction. Each lamp would then become a kind of miniature wireless receiving station, and the existing cables used for conveying current from the generating .stations to tho lamps would bp dispensed with.
