BULK STORE GUTTED

AN AUCKLAND BLAZE. [Fra Hotted Press Association.]. AUCKLAND, January 15. Fire occurred at 1 ofclock this morning in the Home and Colonial bulk store in' Newton road, a- large concrete structure of two stories. The interior of the store was gutted, and apparently the contents are a complete loss. The building was owned by Mr John Robertson, who resides next' dcor. The value of the stock was between £IO,OOO and £12,000. The building, which was formerly Arkell’s Brewery, was valued at between £4,000 and 115,000. Tho loss is partly covered bv insurance.

Tho insurances on the building were £4,000 -and on the stock £B,OOO iin the Northern Assurance Company.
