PORT ELLIOT—CREW INTERVIEWED
A Wellington message states that a member of the Port Elliot s erew was interviewed, and said l-aat the nature of' the shore was'such, that it seemed mo=l hazardous to try to get ashore, unless the'breaking up of. the ship made it compulsion-. ■ The truiistV- to the ‘Tutaneka'i and t’Orl Victor, howerer, was accomplished with little diiliculty in spile of the exhaustion pf all.
