SECOND ACCIDENT SAVES INJURED BOY. An accident which occurred between Charlcvillo and Bullo (Queensland), when a sulky overturned, throwing the occupants out, has ha.d a remarkable sequel. A boy named Page had his ribs broken, and was bleeding from tho mouth. A man named Robert M'Whae came along and put the boy in his car, intending to convey him to Quilpie Hospital; but Mr M'Whae’s car also came to grief, and all the occupants wer© thrown out. At first it was feared that tho boy Pago would be still more badly hurt; but ho said he felt better. Page, was carried nearly twenty miles to Quiipio Hospital, when Dr Dunktoy stated that but for the second accident the boy would have died —tho shock had pulled the broken ribs out of his lung, into which they had penetrated.
