SPAHLINGER'S RESEARCHES
OUR HIGH COMMISSIONER’S APPEAL. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. | LONDON, December 9. | Sir James Allen, who is annoyed over I the dilatoriness of the Australian Govern- i ment in offering M. Spahlinger financial assistance, intends to inaugurate a cam- i paign to monopolise the serum for New i Zealand. He told the Sydney ‘Sun’s’: correspondent that most of the official : bodies adopted the attitude that M. Spall- | linger mast deliver the serum before pay-1 ment. i “M. Spahlinger,” continued Sir James Allen, “cannot produce the serum because he has lost all his horses, and is unable to buy others. I know that M. Sphalinser has received numerous offers to sell his formula for large sums, but he is a humanitarian, and not a speculator. I can get the monev in London from philanthropists. One 'New Zealander has promised me £SCO. I. am convening a meeting of New Zealanders in London to enable Dr Collins to explain the favorable results of his investigations so as to secure financial assistance to obtain the Spahlinger serum for the benefit of New Zealand. lam also urging the mayors of New Zealand towns to appeal to the public.”—Sydney 1 Sun ’ Cable.
