As tho outcome of fierce street demonstrations at Frankfort between Socialists and Communists, Dr Haas, tho Stato Attorney, was brutally murdered. A mob, passing his home, dragged Dr Haas through the street, where he was kicked and beaten to death. The mob ransacked the house of Dr'Haas’s father, who was badly maltreated. Tho crowd carried banners inscribed “ To the gallows with exploiters. No justice without blood.” The mob also visited a popular pleasure resort and turned out tho public. The poiico repelled attempts to break into tho restaurants and hotels.—A, and N.Z. Cable.
