MONTHLY CONCERT

Chief William Duncan am) Chieftain Murdoch M'Kcnzic presided over the monthly “ Ciimunn Gaidhcalach ” of the Gaelic Society. There was a largo audience, and tlie progiamme submitted was thoroughly enjoyed. 'lhc following contributed:—Mr M‘Heath, ‘A’ Mhairi Hurach ’; Mr Maharey, ‘ Doughic t.lio Baker ’ and another; Miss APCalhim, 'Scotland’ and ‘Sound the Pibroch’: Mrs M'Kay, ‘Mo Ron (leal Dikes' and ‘Ho Ro Mo Nighoan Dhonn Bhoidheach ’; Misses Olive and Maisio Scott, Hie double Hing; Miss Ross gave a Scotch fantasia on the violin, ‘ Rcdgauntlet ’; Mr Jones, ' Gao Bring Tae Ale a Pint o’ Wine ’ and ‘Hail, Caledonia’; Miss Jcssio M'hicod, ‘ flur Chroadh Gun Aighean ’ and ‘ (.'ait ’an Caidil ’an Ribhinn ’; Pipers I). M'Kay and Neil Munro gave a pleasing selection on the national instrument; Mr M'Fadyon, ‘A Ihghlandman’s Toast ’ and ‘ Tlie March of the Cameron Men ’; Miss Kennedy, ‘Where Has Scotland Found Her Fame?’ and ‘When Song Is Sweet ’; Miss Georgina Munro, Sean Triubhais; Miss Kennedy. ‘Hi Ho Ro’s Xa Horn Kilo ’ and ‘Miulc Nam Morbhcan ’; Mr Boss, ‘The Old Musketeer.’ Miss Davis was accompanist, and Pipers G. Munro and D. M'Kay played the national music. At tho close of the concert a danco was held.
