The Premier informs your correspondent that Cabinet has found it- a -heavy task to frame proposals of policy which will cover the varied conditions reported on by the Soldiers’ Special Investigation Boards, which recently submitted their conclusions to the Government. A general policy to meet tho situation has been framed, and the legislative proposals placed in the hands of the _ Crown Law Draughtsmen, ft will possibly bo early next week before tho matter is sufficiently advanced for a statement of the Government's intentions to be made.
