The monthly mooting of tlio Morninglon School Gommitt.cn was hold on Monday evening, MV M. K. Haig presiding. Before. commencing the ordinary business, a resolution' of sympathy with Mr W. G. Burns, who had suffered a sad bereavement was carried by the members standing. The prevailing epidemic has seriously affected the, attendance, of the pupils, but the school has been able to carry on. r llio committee unanimously supported the motion submitted by the O.H.F.U. protesting against the. Oval being used as 'the exhibition site. Three pupils of the school (Raymond Padman, Mavis Jack, and Eileen Burgess), who successfully competed at the recent plasiicene competitions, were congratulated by the committee.
