LONDON, July 8,

The Princo of Wales will give his first dinner party in tho State room of St. James's Palace on Tuesday next. Princess .Mary will act as hostess, and there will be sixty guests. Tho Princo is tho youngest man who will attend. Invitations have been issued, mainly to people whom tho Prince met on ids tours, and whose hospitality ho wishes to return. They include the Aga Khan and the Jam of Nawangar (Princo I’anjitsinhji). A reception after the dinner will be attended by 800 persons, including tho High Commissioners, the Ambassadors, and many dominion visitors.

Tho members of the Prince’s staff say that lie has lung wished to give his first dinner, but has had no opportunity eo far. This is his first free summer in England since the war.
