UNIVERSITY BALL.

Tho capping ball, held on. Fridav night (a week ago), was a most enjoyable function, some'YOO couples being present. Tho A.rt Gallery was /beautifully decorated with a lattice-work coiling of intertwined college colors (blue and gold), the. lights being softened with shades of blue and yellow with long fringe. Findlay’s (one of this year’s graduates) waltz. Supper was served in the Early settlors’ I Jail, enormous hoops do pending from the central chandelier from which floated gay streamer?—red and yellow being used as decoration, and chrysanthemums of a lemon shade as table decoration.
