RADIO CONCERT

Last evening another successful concert was transmitted by the Otago Radio Association from its rooms m Moray place. Tho concert opened with several gramophone records lire lollowiim then gave items:—Miss learl Crawford, pianoforte . solo; Mies. Sumner, songs (‘ Field 0 l 1 -P, alSies, J • Flight of Ages,’ and ‘The Miller and the Maid ’); .Miss Netta Wilkie, songs ■ A Little Pink Rose ’ 1 She is Far From the Land,’ and ‘ Kelvin Grove ’) j Miss Margaret Martin, violin solos t Mrs Robin Adair, recitation ( if’), children's story (‘ How tho Rhmo Lot His .Skin’); Mr Legal, violin solo; Mr Passmore, ’cello solo; Mr Les. Gain, humorous songs (‘Cauliflower Time m Cabbage Land’ and ‘Docs This Shop Stock Shot Socks ’). Miss Sumner and Messrs Passmore and Legal also gave an instrumental trio (piano, ’cello, and violin). The accompaniments were played by Bliss Mary Martin, Miss Sumner. -Miss Wilkie, and Miss Crawford. The weather report was transmitted. and Mr Scott sent out a Mors® for the benefit of the students. The transmission was conducted by Messrs Scott and T. Finlayson.
