AUCKLAND, July 19,
At the annual meeting of tho New Zealand Jersey Breeders’ Association the president (Air M'Lennan) presided. Tho report stated that tho membership is 1,138. Cattle registered during tho year numbered 6,288 against 4,311 in the preceding year; certificates issued 544, against 375, the grand total now being 1,823. with an average of 420.21 pounds of butter fat. Tho receipts wero £2,737, and a credit balance of £960 was shown.
Alessrs E. D. Al'Lcnnan, A. E. Aliseou, and W. H. Booth were elected members of the council.
