THE FRONTIER ADJUSTMENT, LAUSANNE, May 29. (Received May 30, at 12.30 p.m.) Experts have fixed the new frontier in the Karagatch region along a line from the Arda River to the Maritz River, a few miles westward of the town of Karagatch, giving a few villages to the Turks. This line was adopted in spite of objections raised by the Serbian delegate to tho conference. —A. and N.Z. Cable. GERMAN BANKERS’ DIFFICULTIES. BERLIN, May 29. (Received May 30, at 12.30 p.m.) Accordin'* to advices from Essen, tho confiscation 3 of money in the Reichsbank has compelled the private banks to close early, as they have insufficient cash to meet the demands of the public. A largo part of the amount seized was intended to pay the wages of miners. The managers of tho private banks have decided to inform tho French general that the nonpayment of wages was likely to lead to a. catastrophe, and they asked for a. promise that any fresh aupply'of bank notes would not be seized; otherwise no more money would be brought to Easen. —Reuter.
