STRASBURG CLOCK EXHIBITION

Tho beautiful model of the wonderful clock of Strasburg entered upon its third week of exhibition in Dunedin yesterday. At each quarter of an hour a gong is struck by tho clod:, and tho right hand portico of the chapel opens, when the procession of the twelve Apostles commences. From the centre door tho Saviour enters, and as each Apostle passes ho bows to the Saviour, who returns tho salutation by inclining His bead. As Peter approaches Satan appears; Peter turns bis back upon the Saviour, and the cock • on the weight-tower crows in memory of Peter’s denial. _ Tho last Apostle is Judas, who, in his hypocrisy, bows lower than the rest. There _aro numerous scientific and astronomical dials, the whole of which are explained by tho lecturer. The exhibition is open from 2 till 5 and 7 till 10 p.m. in the King’s Theatre, Dowling street.
