P'JSLJC NOTiCSS. JUST FOR A SHORT SPELL. MR A. W. MARTIN, having returned from his visit to Southland, will, before leaving for tho North, spend a very limited time in Dunedin, so that prospective patients may have an opportunity of being treated before he finally leaves. It will be several months before Mr Martin can return to Dunedin; consequently those who wish to bo cured of rupture by Dr Sherman’s method of treatment—which, by the way, is the only method of permanent ct.re — should lose no time in seeking an _ interview. It is an extraordinary question to ask, and one which will never bo satisfactorily answered; but, if only to pause reflection, let it be asked; Why will people continue to suffer excruciating agony, continuous discomfort, and perpetually bear about with them a disfiguring badge of servitude in the form of a truss when they know that scores of people have been permanently cured in this City, as in all other parts of New Zealand and Australia, by a means which is as available to themselves as it has been to others? The truss does not cure; operations are speculative and dangerous. It is the Dr Sherman method of treatment which is the best, as it ensures immediate relief and ultimate cure. Mr A. W. Martin, sole controller of the Dr J. A. Sherman method of curing rupture, may be consulted for a limited time only at Samson's Buildings, Dowling street, Dunedin, daily from 10 to 12 noon, 2 till 5 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 to 12. A booklet on rupture and its treatment posted free to any sufferer. w HITE PAPER FOR WRAPPING UP FOR SALE. M>piy •STAR’ OFFICE, Bond street.
