STRASBURG CLOCK EXHIBITION
The best testimony to the value of the Strasburg clock model as a. means of instruction and entertainment is to bo formed in the length n£ time which it remains on exhibition hove. The exhibition enters upon its third week in Dunedin to-day. Standing in the south-western corner of the great Cathedral of Strasburg is the seventh wonder of the world, the marvellous astronomical and apostolic clock. Majestic it stands, 50ft in height and 30ft wide, a massive monument of the craft of master craftsmen in clock-making who lived back in the dark ages over 560 years ago. The glorious figures with their wonderful mechanical movements, the various scientific dials, and the general magnificence of this structure arc a neverending source of wonder to the tourists. Tiie model, which is an exact replica of the great original, is now on view in the King’s Theatre, Dowling street, every afternoon and evening.
