The decision of the population of Angora to erect a statue to Mustapha Kcinal in recognition of his victories appears to have caused a certain amount of misgiving among orthodox Mohammedans, who interpret strictly the injunction of the Prophet that the Faithful may not make images of amy living thing that may be worshipped.
