TURKISH BONDS
NOT ACCEPTABLE IN FRANCE

The Paris correspondent of the ‘Daily Express’’ says thqt the relations between the Turks ‘and the French are very strained. Tho whole country is solidly behind the Government in its refusal to accept the Turkish offer to pay the interest on Turkish bonds in French paper francs. The question interests every village in France, where tho peasants and shopkeepers are determined that Turkish bonds shall not be brought down to the level of the Russian bonds.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
