THE ENVOYS ON BAIL

When the Irish envoys had' just commenced an open-air meeting at Waverley last night, tho police intervened 1 . They arrested both envoys, also John Clancy (a collector), on a charge of inciting to-sedi-tion on April 22 and other days. Accused were subsequently released on bail, £SOO each An angry crowd followed tho arrested men to the police station, sang republican songs, and sported Sinn Fein flags on a motor car. Subsequently the crowd dispersed without further incident.
HICKSON AT NEWCASTLE
SYDNEY, May 1, (Received May 1, at 11.50 a.m.)
Interest in the Hickson Mission is unabated, The number of reported cures in Armiclale has been added to. Mr Hickson is now visiting Newcastle, where tho cathedral is being utilised. _ The whole building is daily filled with sick and afflicted seeking relief.
