(Received April 26, at 1 a.m.) Airs Barnett, aged seventy-one, a resident of Hampstead, had tho unique experience of having her first attempt in oils accepted by the Royal Academy. She did not start painting until February last, except for a few sketches made forty years ago when she was travelling in Egypt.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
